Help Me Purchase Bible Study Software for Pastor

My mentor, Jim Shaul, is currently helping to teach at Hays Fork Community Church in Looneyville, West Virginia (both pictured above). Frequently, these sermons are recorded and posted online for the benefit of all. He also started and is still currently helping facilitate an open-to-the-public (in-person and online) religion discussion group which aims to spark spiritual conversations between Christians and non-Christians. Jim mentors folks besides myself, including mentorship in biblical study. For years he ran a group Bible study in Nebraska, and after he retired across the country, I and three others who had attended started our own Bible study in the same spirit.

Jim mentioned to me recently that he’s been looking into Bible study software to aid in the efficiency of his ministry. Logos Bible Software seems to be the superior tool for his needs. I know the cost of that resource would be a burden to him and his wife, both of whom are retired. I want to heed the Apostle Paul’s admonish in his letter to the Galatians that “The one who is taught the Word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.”

I want to help provide for a man who has provided so much for the God’s Kingdom. He has given me so much of his time, food, coffee, energy, and prayers and never asked for a thing in return. I humbly ask you to prayerfully consider providing for a teacher of the Word a tool that will help him be more effective in his work. Please head over to the GiveSendGo fund I set up for Jim. If you can’t donate, you can share the page to others, follow the campaign, or let him know you’re praying for him. Thank you for your consideration and God bless.

Apart from any donations, the biggest thing you can do to help is to share this page (on Facebook or any other platform you’re on)! I would so appreciate if you would show that kindness.
